Question from Ashley P: Asked on 05/06/2009 Is the screen on this model High Definition? Cause it only mentions being able to play Blu-Ray disk, nothing about the screen.

Answer from SteveF: Answered on 08/06/2009
The screens resolution is 1366 x 768 which is slightly higher than 720p but not as detailed as 1080p which is the full resolution that blu-ray can play at. With a screen that size it shouldn't make too much difference to the films you watch as the eye can only pick up so much detail. If it was on a large 40" TV then it would make a big difference.

Question from Colin: Asked on 19/05/2009 I had previously asked if the 8930G would do video editing with Adobe Premiere, but does the 6930G-864G32Bn also work with Premiere? I know that you cant edit in realtime on a laptop; (at least that's what i have heard). but I used to do wedding video editing on a Matrox RT 2000 desktop. Can I get similar results with the Acer 6930G using Premiere? The Acer 6930G is a bit cheaper than the 8930G, but will it do the job when it comes to video editing?

Answer from SteveF: Answered on 19/05/2009
Check the minimum spec of the software you're running against the spec of the laptop and that will give you the benchmarks for the type of laptop you need for editing. This is a high end spec so should do all the jobs you've mentioned above.
