Hi, in answer to your questions, yes you can use MSN, yes you can use the webcam on any web applications that support webcams, you don't want vista on there as it takes up a lot of system resources and would probably break the netbook and yes it is wireless ready so will connect with your home hub. Once this laptop goes online, it gives you easy access to a library of free open-source software that can be installed with a single click. One of these applications is OpenOffice which is a fully featured Office suite which contains a word processor that is compatible with Microsoft Office documents. This laptop also ships with some applications pre-installed which could include OpenOffice already.

No, but you can get programs built for Linux that use the MSN/LimeWire protocols - Such as Pidgin Messenger - This will run on the EEE PC. There are also Linux fileshare programs like LimeWire.

This small form factor laptop has no CD/DVD drive in order to keep the size and cost down. Applications can be downloaded and installed via an internet connection.
