Question from bob: Asked on 12/08/2011 HI, i would like to connect this external hard drive to a humax foxsat pvr to expand storage, is it compatable? i belive the pvr only recognises fat32 format.

Answer from Paul: Answered on 15/08/2011
You would have to contact Humux as the box my not be able to cope with 500GB or might be really slow and userable. Hard drives han be formated to which ever FAT system you require by connecting them to a computer running Windows.

Question from aaron: Asked on 09/06/2011 if my laptop already has 500gb and i add this, does it make it 1000gb? or does it stay the same?

Answer from paul: Answered on 10/06/2011
Would give you a extra 500GB of storage and just connects by USB.

Question from GHOS7: Asked on 19/05/2011 can you plug the portable buffalo mini station hard drive directly into a tv or a PS3 system, or does it only read on PC and MACS? Thanks

Answer from paul: Answered on 21/05/2011
It would work with a PS3 but not direct into a TV as a TV wouldn't be able to cope with the large capcity of a hard drive. Tv's with USBs are designed for connecting a USB memory sticks.
