You can't get Microsoft Office for the Android 2.2 Mobile Operating System only for Microsoft and Apple operating systems. However, you will be able to download/ purchase office applications for Andriod.

What is the current version of the Android os that is currently instaled? 2.1 2.2etc

Also is it locked to the current version or is it upgradeable to later versions via the internet?

Sorry about that Andy it has Android™ 2.1 Mobile Operating System Touch optimised pre-installed. Elonex use this operating system as it's currently the most stable of the Andriod versions, and It would be only them that can advise about changing the operating system. The specs they provide don't go into that much detail and we have not attempted to change the operating system as we sell only off the shelf products.

We don't offer such a service as we just sell off the shelf products. Don't think they will be drivers available to work with different operating systems at the moment but you would need to check with the manufacturer.
