Question from BR92: Asked on 18/05/2012 Hi. My laptop is coming up to 2 years old as of June this year, but its current free existing warranty is coming to an end with no option to renew. Would this fully cover my laptop at this stage in its life, for 3 years from now? Thanks.

HP laptops will have a 1 year or a 3 year warranty to begin with not aware of any than came with a 2 year warranty. The warranty exstention needs to be bought and registered before the orginal warranty ends. HP can be called on there care pack help line for the product code for the correct warranty for you on 0845 6832823. You can then type the product code into our site to make the purchase. The warranty you are looking at only cover cetain HP ranges.

you can yes , however you need to purchase it before the 1 year manufacturers warranty expires. I would say within 10 months.

HP will do a accidental damage version of the care pack. If you call HP on 0845 683 2823 they will be able to confirm what code to enter into our site. You would need to tell them the part code of your laptop.
