the S by a mile. the U is a budget range made especially for supermarkets. Even Sony say the U isn't a good set!

the S2000 is about 18 months older than the S3000, less connections, lower contrast ratio, lower spec panel etc.

Question from Alan Hargreaves: Asked on 23/06/2008 Sony Bravia 32 Inch HD Ready LCD TV - KDL32S3000U. Is this one of those tellies that if you don't sit right in front of it, it looks dark and shaded.

Answer from Easycom: Answered on 24/06/2008
No, that is common amongst old LCD TVs and rear projection TVs, but thankfully advances in technology have improved viewing angles considerably on LCD TVs.

Question from kingjoebob: Asked on 31/05/2008 hey, dumb question coming up:
i have this tv and it rocks for my ps3, i am only 17 and clueless about everything!! i wanna watch tv on it right i thought i could just plug it in and watch! do i need to buy anything to view the freeview or how does it work?

Answer from Easycom: Answered on 02/06/2008
This TV does have integrated freeview - If you plug in the antenna, then you just need to go into the on-screen settings and get the TV to scan for digital TV channels - It will configure these itself when it finds them.

Question from TonyH: Asked on 23/05/2008 What's the difference between Sony Bravia 32P3020 and 32S3000? Why the P and the S, and the 3020 and 3000?

Answer from Easycom: Answered on 27/05/2008
The P 3020 is entry level, this S 3000 is mid-range. The main differences are the 3 HDMIs and Live colour creation on the S series.

Question from belly: Asked on 10/02/2008 Out of all the gaming tvs witch would you recomend for under £600 but not just for gaming but for dvds and tv with a indoor ariel

Answer from Easycom: Answered on 12/02/2008
they're all fine for gaming and if you're only using an indoor aerial, then you will always get a rubbish picture on any tv

Question from Johnmex: Asked on 07/01/2008 Johnmex Hi out of all your top tvs wich is the most reliable ?

Answer from Easycom: Answered on 07/01/2008
they're all about the same. the one with the worst record is LE32R87BDX Samsung.

Question from Mike: Asked on 25/12/2007 What is the difference between the 32S300U and 32S3000E. I know U=Uk and E=European but how do the tv technical specs change? Can I use an E version in the UK?

Answer from Easycom: Answered on 02/01/2008
it may not come with UK spec power leads plus the digital tuner may be different. also Sony will not cover the warranty on this product as it is not a UK spec TV

Question from Godhatch: Asked on 16/12/2007 does this t.v support the full range of RGB?

Question from bobben: Asked on 15/12/2007 hi. looking for new 32" or 37" tv. viewing distance is about 2metres from screen! which screen size do you recommend?

Answer from Easycom: Answered on 17/12/2007
I would go for 32 inch as you are a bit close and would notice the pixelation on a 37 inch screen

Question from Godhatch: Asked on 13/12/2007 Hi there, just wondering does this t.v have a swivel base? and does it have a game mode for a ps3 like the Samsung LE32R87BDX or does this t.v not need a game mode? thanks.

Answer from Easycom: Answered on 18/12/2007
none of the Sonys have swivel bases all have similar specs. Sony do not have a gaming mode but Bravia picture processing for higher quality images

Question from Arfan: Asked on 15/11/2007 Hey there,

Sony 32" S3000 and D3000 from what I can tell the only difference is the 100hz is this correct?

Secondly is 100hz such a good idea? most feeds will be at 60hz and im told that if the tv is runing at 100hz its filling up the gap with a black screen. It would happen so quick that you wouldnt notice but leaves the image "over processed" is there any truth in this or is 100hz just simply better then 60-75hz?

Lastly how would you rate SD picture quailty on this S3000? im told the 100hz in actuall fact is better with SD feeds?

Im trying to validate spending an extra 100 on the D3000 model!

Thank you for your time and help, Arfan

Answer from Easycom: Answered on 20/11/2007
you,ve been told a load of rubbish. the hz rate is the number of times, per second, your TV will refresh an image, and has nothing to do with the feed of the signal. So, a TV that is 100hz refreshes the image quicker so will therefore help to reduce motion blur. You would notice the difference between the 2 sets if you see them running side by side, as the D series has extra technology to process the image faster

Question from Private H: Asked on 31/10/2007 I'm torn between this and the Samsung LE32R87BDX. Which do you feel is better in overall quality?

Answer from Easycom: Answered on 01/11/2007
These are very similar specification televisions however I would opt for the Sony with its Bravia technology that offers high contrast and smooth reproduction of moving images.

Question from chirs1878: Asked on 23/10/2007 I'm looking for a 32" lcd tv with a budget of £550 to use with my PS3. With so many tvs on the market any suggestions as to which tv wouldbe best.

Thanks in advance

Answer from Easycom: Answered on 23/10/2007
To get the most out of the PS3, requires a HDMI input (yes for this TV) and at least 720 vertical lines (this TV has 768). So this would be an excellent TV for PS3 gaming.

Question from quinny: Asked on 08/09/2007 can you get this tv in silver colour
