Question from mick: Asked on 22/10/2009 Will this tv be able to show freeview hd channels when they start in 2010 in granada region or will additional equpment be required

Answer from jeremy: Answered on 22/10/2009
No current TV will be able to show Freeview HD as it uses a different tuner. Your best option would be to buy a freesat ready TV. These have analogue, freeview and freesat tuners on board. Freeview HD will only have the same content as freesat.

Question from sonia: Asked on 24/09/2009 jus wanted to enquire about aftersales service, incase of faults etc?

Answer from jeremy: Answered on 25/09/2009
28 day swap out if there is a fault, after that it would go through Sony who would send an engineer out

Question from amanda: Asked on 14/09/2009 If I trade in my old tv and arrange for it to be collected by you , I take it the new one will be delivered same time , do you charge extra for it to be collected or is it the same delivery charges

Answer from david s: Answered on 14/09/2009
unfortunatly we don't offer that service sorry
Answer from jeremy: Answered on 14/09/2009
The collection would be organised seperately.. If you wish you can despose of the TV yourself. All Sony need to know is the make and model of your old TV

Question from dave: Asked on 12/06/2009 probably a stupid question but as it has freeview built in how do i pipe the sound into an amplifier rather than use the tv's speakers. i was looking at the Sony Surround System 5.1 - 450W 3xHDMI in 1 Out - HT-IS100 also on your site for this.

Secondly it states pc input what type of input is this as i wanted to use this telly as a monitor

Answer from jeremy: Answered on 12/06/2009
yes it dos have freeview. If you go for the Sony surround sound, all you would need would be an HDMI cable. For PC input its amini sub 15 pin, or you could connect viaHDMI
