Yes, if you register your Vaio within 30 days you'll get the warranty extension.

No this laptop doesn't have a HDMI port. You can still connect via the VGA slot to flat screen though.

XP downgrade means you can change the operating system from Vista to XP. It has a normal (broad) enter key.
