SE-208GN is the latest ultra-slim portable DVD writer for Ultrabook. Its dimension is 148 x 14.4 x 143 mm. It features Smart Power Technology that drives low power consumption. The ability to connect using a single USB port ensures mobile consumers will have a flexible solution that does not tax the Ultrabook's battery while outside the home or office. The Smart Archive Technology allows Ultrabook users to store personal data. It offers a recording quality that is optimized for DVDs allowing storage for an extended time. This technology also follows standard DVD formatting that is compatible with M-dics, archival dics and qualified normal discs. The Buffer Under Run technology prevents errors that can be caused when writing speeds exceed data transfer speeds, while also enabling PC multi-tasking. SE-208GN is manufactured in an eco-friendly manner, with lead-free soldering technology that restricts the use of harmful materials such as Pub, cd, cr+6, Hg, PBBs and PBDE.
