Question from SR from Herts: Asked on 28/10/2008 Can you please clarify if this is suitable as a bedroom tv or a pc monitor? You have two comments posted from Easycom that appear to completely contradict each other - 22 April - yes it is. 23 Sept - not a tv???

Answer from Jeremy: Answered on 28/10/2008
this is a monitor with an inbuilt TV tuner, better as a monitor than a TV

Question from Matt: Asked on 23/09/2008 Hi, sorry 2 questions!
I've been looking to buy some form of HD TV for my (original style) xbox 360 for a few weeks, and after some searching, this looks like just what I want for a very good price. From the above comments I can see that I would need a VGA cable - but this is the first I have heard about differences between xboxes apart from the hard drive capacity. Is the difference between the 2 cables that noticeable?
Second question is that I work during the week at varying times between 8am and 9pm, and I would like to have the tv delivered - would it be too big to transport across London transport if I get it delivered at work, or should I get it at the weekend?
Sorry about these frankly quite trivial questions, it would be great if you could get back to me.

Answer from Easycom: Answered on 24/09/2008
OK please be aware that this is a PC monitor & not a TV. yes there are big differences between the 2 xboxs, one has component (5 individual leads to go to the TV) the other is hdmi. this would be quite lightweight to carry

Question from Digg: Asked on 07/09/2008 to play xbox 360 on this why do you say you need HDMI, VGA etc because all you need is component and scart to put those white, red, yellow wires in? I dont understand why you talk about HDMI, VGA, DVI? Please could you explain me the process of connecting the xbox 360 on to this lcd tv because i intend to buy it this week...

Answer from Easycom: Answered on 08/09/2008
it all depends on which model Xbox you have. Xbox elite has a HDMI connection, all others have component.... So it all depends on which Xbox you have

Question from zain: Asked on 03/06/2008 why is that product cheap???n how long du poy fimk it gona last??is this suitable for pc??

Answer from Easycom: Answered on 04/06/2008
This is a good price, the build quality is great (as with all LG products) so it won't fall to bits on you. It is ideal for use with a PC as it has both DVI and VGA inputs.

Question from jake: Asked on 29/05/2008 for xbox360 can the picture be better than a other tv

Answer from Easycom: Answered on 29/05/2008
Well if you have a new 360 with a HDMI output you would be better with a 1080p set with a HDMI input. Otherwise, this TV will be great if you buy the VGA cable for the 360 and then set the 360 to output at 1680x1050.

Question from bev: Asked on 17/05/2008 saw this tv on internet but went to your shop at Brighouse to see it in the flesh so to speak I wanted it for my little boys bedroom but was told by the sales chap it was a pc monitor and not suitable for watching tv. I have just noticed a question from a john taylor asking if this is a tv and i'am surprised to read the answer is 'yes', If I'd have know this I would have purchased it there and then but I have disappointedly now purchased a more costly tv from Currys.

Answer from Easycom: Answered on 19/05/2008
This product is both a TV (it has an integrated TV tuner and SCART inputs) and a PC monitor (it also has VGA and DVI inputs). It does not have an integrated Digital TV (so no integrated freeview) which is what the sales person may have been referring to. It is definately suitable for watching TV though.

Question from sam: Asked on 08/05/2008 can you play game consoles on it like playstation 3 and xbox 360

Answer from Easycom: Answered on 09/05/2008
Yes, although there is no HDMI input on this TV - You can still connect up the 360/PS3 via the components, VGA cable or by using a HDMI to DVI adapter. NB. There is only a 3.5mm audio input with this set so you would need to route your sound from the console to a separate speaker system.

Question from cheryl: Asked on 24/04/2008 can this tv be put on one of those arms that you attach to the wall then it can be pulled out when wanted? sorry thats the only way i can describe it!

Answer from Easycom: Answered on 25/04/2008
Yes, this TV can be wall-mounted. The mounting holes are 100x100 so you should look for a 100x100 wall mount (up to 20") in the wall mount section of our site. I suggest something like VTS1.

Question from john taylor: Asked on 22/04/2008 Is this item a tv? I know it says it is a TV but wanted to double check it wasn't a monitor.

Answer from Easycom: Answered on 22/04/2008
Yes, it has an integrated analogue tuner - Although it can be used as a PC monitor as it has a high resolution 1680x1050 panel and VGA/DVI inputs. It also has a tuner, SCART/video inputs and a remote control which is why it's classed as a TV.

Question from anonymous: Asked on 09/04/2008 is this product wall mountable?

Answer from Easycom: Answered on 14/04/2008
Yes, it is.
