You can connect an external monitor to the model if you wanted to and the notebook can be attached to a usb keyboard or mouse.

I recently purchased this laptop from Laptopsdirect. I have one query regarding some keyboard keys. Why are some keys not displayed as the one displayed on the keyboard button. Like when I press Shift+3, it is showing '@' sign instead of '£' sign. Please let me know.

Sounds like you have the keyboard set to US rather than UK if you look in the FAQ section it tells you how to change it.

For playing games we would recommend a machine with a dedicated graphics card. For everything else it would be fine.

The built in web camera can be used for video conferencing or video chat other msn or skype. The finger print offers extra security and can be used instead of, or as well as a password.

Any version of Vista could be installed and would work, however due to the lack of dedicated graphics the Aero interface may be disabled, if it wasnt able to run it.

No, but the sound is not constant, the fans only go up to that level briefly if it gets very hot.
