Speed and reliability
Duplex scanning allows the Fujitsu fi-7180 to scan up to 160 images per minute in grayscale, colour, and monochrome. Skew prevention technology eliminates paper jams while the ADF (automatic document feeder) can handle up to eighty pages at a time. Scan hard and embossed cards up to 1.4mm thick, continuously, and be immediately warned of multifeed incidents by the ultrasonic detection sensor.
Difficult documents automatically handled
With PaperStreamIP, all images are automatically cleaned as they are scanned. Unwanted backgrounds can be removed, and clarity will be added to otherwise blurry characters. An Assisted Scan function gives users the power to substitute low-quality images for better alternatives through an easy-to-use visual interface. Rescans are reduced by a real-time preview function which allows users to view the effect of any changes they make to the image. Designed to work with both ISIS and TWAIN applications.
Ready to go
PaperStream Capture enables the creation and editing of profiles to fit repetitive tasks. Bundled with the software are a number of profiles designed to match typical needs: colour, black and white, and auto-colour. PaperStream Capture will also read barcodes and patch codes to make separating and filing documents a cinch.
