Question from Stephen Hill: Asked on 15/02/2011 Many thanks for your assistance earlier today. Afraid I have another couple of queries:-

(1) I intend to install Ubuntu Linux, perhaps to dual-boot with Windows 7. Are you aware of any potential problems with using the Grade A1 - Acer Aspire Z5610 in this manner (NB I'm not asking you for any sort of guarantee that Ubuntu would successfully instal - just for any information which you may have immediately to hand and which you might be prepared to share!)?

(2) As regards the motherboard, does this allow for booting from a USB flash drive (i.e. as well as from DVDs and HDD)?

My thanks in advance for your help. The replies would not necessarily lead to my not purchasing though I would possibly take a look at other products you have on offer before deciding.

Kind regards, Steve.

Question from Stephen Hill: Asked on 14/02/2011 Greetings!

Does the Acer Aspire z5610 which you offer have Ethernet capability? It doesn't seem to be mentioned in your specification, but that may be a shortened version.

Many thanks, Steve.

yes it does.

Question from Frank: Asked on 08/02/2011 Why has it got 2 hard disks and does that make any difference to its operation?

Answer from vicki: Answered on 08/02/2011
having 2 hardrives will not boost the PC's performance although it will provide you with a larger storage capacity for photo's music etc.
