No HDMI, don't know what battery it has but you will get at least 4hrs and there is no issue freezing.

It has Vista but can't change it to XP but there is a Windows 7 upgrade availble to £80.97, it would be cheaper if you look at Netbooks with Windows 7 pre-installed already. You can call sales for advice.
