4K Ultra HD & upscaling
Experience more with four times the detail of 1080p Full HD. And no matter what you are watching on the JU6510 TV, you can enjoy great picture quality all the time. Samsung’s unique upscaling capabilities uses a four step process which converts lower resolution content, such as live TV, to a level of near 4K Ultra-HD detail. This means that you can watch all your old favourites and new shows in the highest level of detail. Upscaling is a process through which a lower resolution signal or data source is displayed at a higher resolution. The upscaling process interpolates additional pixels from the source data, and produces a clearer picture on your 4K screen than a non-upscaled image.
Curved screen
Samsung’s curved Ultra-High Definition screen is designed to give you an immersive new TV experience that you will lose yourself in. The edges of the curved screen will feel like they surround you, while Samsung's exclusive Auto Depth Enhancer technology creates images with a deeper 3D like quality.
The curve radius works in perfect harmony with its 55-inch screen size. You’ll notice the field-of-view seems wider too because of the way it shortens the distance between you and the screen’s corners.
Super Smart Platform
The JU6510 features an all-new Smart TV system. With Quick Connect, the Samsung TV can automatically connect to Samsung Smartphones once paired up with Bluetooth, so you can share video content between devices. Better still, the Smart system even has the ability to work with a multitude of games apps, providing console-free game play direct through the TV itself*.
The new interface to the Smart Hub is more responsive and playful too. This will enable you to easily access the content you want to watch. It has been simplified to be able to watch TV whilst it displays your most recent content and even displays featured recommendations so you can discover more content to watch. And what’s more with Brief on TV, the Samsung TV wakes up when your alarm goes off. This great new service shows useful information such as the time, the weather and even your daily schedule.
Two tuners
With two tuners, it means that you have both Freeview HD and freesat HD built-in to the TV. You can split the screen and watch two channels at once, or watch one and record the other to an external drive via the USB port. No more missing out when your favourite shows clash!
Multi-Link Screen
Watch, browse and play at the same time with a Multi-Link screen on your Samsung TV. Essentially, you can turn your TV into two TVs which enables you to watch live TV while you use an app on the same screen, have another channel playing or watch content from another source. The size of each screen is also adjustable so you can get the most out of your choice.
Game-Changing HDR
Forays into colour-boosting High Dynamic Range (HDR) have begun, and Samsung are one of the forerunners. As members of the newly-founded UHD Alliance, they've rolled out a firmware update that makes this set HDR-compatible. Usually, studios are forced to dilute the colour of their shows and films to fit on our TVs. Now, screens like this can channel content from studio-to-living room with the same precision and utterly otherworldly hues. Enjoy eye-popping HDR content from such apps as Netflix and Amazon Instant Video (subject to firmware update).
Voice Interaction and Samsung Smart Remote
The JU6510 is an intelligent TV which helps you find the programmes you want. The Samsung Smart Remote is controlled by motion and it enables Voice Interaction which makes finding what you want to watch a breeze. Speak out loud to ask your TV to find you something you'd like and it will instantly search the schedules, on-demand services and apps to recommend content tailored to you.
