Question from SteveM: Asked on 26/07/2013 Why are the cameras sold with the bundles not available separately ?
PRO-560 Ccd or Pro-530.
Also it is difficult to compare features on your website. What is the difference between the two bundles that come with 4 cameras.

Answer from Gavin: Answered on 27/07/2013
Hi, the two 4-cam Swann packages differ in resolution for the cameras, 480TVL vs 600TVL. The separate Swann cameras can be sourced, but they're not on the web, so if you wish to order them please call me directly to order on 01484 481130.

Gavin

Question from David: Asked on 13/02/2013 i don't have power near the camera locations so wanted to know if I could ru the power cable back along with data cable to the PVR location to power the cameras? What sort of power cables to they come with and is the length of power cable an issue? If this is not possible, can you suggest a similar POE system?

Answer from Gavin: Answered on 13/02/2013
Hi David, the cables that come with this packages are dual core, they run power and video. So yes, the PSU will go at the other end of the cable.

Question from Cal: Asked on 03/01/2013 Does it include 4 x BNC/power cables? and camera PSU?

Answer from Gavin: Answered on 04/01/2013
Yes, all the 2 and 4 camera packages come with power and cabling. Just not when you buy seperately.

Thanks

Question from ART: Asked on 28/11/2012 Does this system facilitate movement alert setup? If not can you recommend an alternative system with similar features to include movement email alert?

Answer from Gavin: Answered on 02/12/2012
Hi, all our DVR's have a motion detector facility.

For more advice please call our advise line.

Regards

Question from Steve: Asked on 07/09/2012 Do the cameras take their power from the cable to the recorder or do they need a seperate individual power supply?
Can the harddrive support a monitor and can you use a standard PC monitor?

Answer from Gavin: Answered on 09/09/2012
Hi Steve, yes to all questions. The cameras do need an individual power supply, that will connect to one end of the cable and run down to the other end where the camera is.

Question from Aaron: Asked on 20/06/2012 do these cameras record sound?

Answer from jonathan: Answered on 22/06/2012
No the cameras dont record sound

Question from Fletch: Asked on 28/03/2012 Can I store video to an email account in the event the hard drive is stolen

Answer from Gavin: Answered on 31/03/2012
Hi Fletch, there's no raid system available if that's what you mean, but you can still do what you want manually. There is a USB port for downloading footage as a compressed file which you can store elsewhere.

Regards

Question from Kev Scott: Asked on 19/03/2012 Are the cameras for out door use? Is there a lead to display on a TV screen

Answer from Gavin: Answered on 21/03/2012
Hi Scott, these are weather proof cameras with infra-red LED's for night time use.

The DVR will have a VGA output for a monitor. The VGA cable will not come with though. Any standard PC VGA cable will be fine.

Thanks
