BID Recovery USB Stick for Windows 10 Laptops or Desktops - Can delay your order by 24 hours

SKU: RECOVERYUSB Quickfind Code: 698027
€25.97

Please add an extra 24hrs to the delivery time for this USB to be created.

A restore and recovery USB is the single most important accessory to have with your new laptop.

It allows you to reset your computer to its factory settings and wipe your hard drive clean of programs and data. You may need to use it in the event of a virus, programme corruption, or simply to give your laptop a new lease of life and clean off unwanted information, and without it your laptop could be rendered useless leaving you with an expensive repair bill.

With this product you can save yourself the hassle of having to create your own backup files and restore data, by creating this on a USB stick for you, allowing you to easily reformat the hard drive and restore the computer to its default factory settings in minutes, ready for a fresh start.

Question from Jp: Asked on 02/06/2013 If you reformat the laptop to wipe everything, will this install windows again?

Answer from Robert: Answered on 03/06/2013
Yes.

Question from mjpdre: Asked on 22/04/2013 I run a windows full backup to an external hard drive once a month which includes a system image - does this not do the same thing?

Answer from paul: Answered on 23/04/2013
This restores the computer to factory settings rather than backing up the entire computer from a certain date. It is a clean install. If you back up to a hard drive you could be backing up a virus too,

Question from Steve: Asked on 18/04/2013 Hi are you making and image to the BID usb or are you configuring the PC and the using the Manufacture supplied 'factory backup' software to create this? Which please?

Answer from ryan: Answered on 21/04/2013
this is a back up of the windows 8 operating system that our tech team do , created from a hidden partition on the hard drive

Question from liz: Asked on 17/02/2013 Am I right to assume the BID usb recovery stick is created for the particular laptop purchased with the product?

Answer from AnthonyDunn: Answered on 18/02/2013
