Integrated: Built into the processor. Ideal for everyday use but will struggle with gaming.
Dedicated: A separate chip (GPU) with its own memory. Essential for gaming, video editing, and rendering. Look for NVIDIA GeForce RTX or AMD Radeon cards.
SSD (Solid State Drive): Much faster than old hard drives. Makes your laptop boot in seconds and apps load instantly. Highly recommended.
HDD (Hard Disk Drive): Older technology. Provides lots of space for cheap, but is much slower.
Screen Size: Measured diagonally. 13” is great for travel, while 15.6” is the most popular balance of size and portability. 17” is best for gaming replacements.
