The Epson WorkForce DS-1660W Flatbed Scanner combines the functionality of a flatbed with its super-high-speed ADF to enable it to handle a wide range of documents, including the most challenging of materials. It can scan books, passports and delicate items or simply deal with stacks of everyday office documents quickly and efficiently.

It is big on performance but small in size, making it perfect for keeping in your front office or customer-facing environment, or positioning for use within back office workgroups.

Boosting efficiency

The Epson WorkForce DS-1660W Flatbed Scanner is one of the fastest devices in its class and its USB 3.0 connectivity allows for continuously speedy scanning, even at its 300 dpi top resolution. It encourages simple, one-touch operations, scanning to online storage accounts, email, folders and more.

It also offers double-sided scanning for added convenience, and you can scan straight to server locations, Microsoft SharePoint or cloud services. Use the optional network panel to create as many as 30 different jobs and enjoy dual image output, where Epson software lets you scan once but send the results to two different locations.

Intelligent features

The WorkForce DS-1660W is packed with intelligent features, allowing for image and smart colour adjustments. These include skew correction, background and blank page removal and auto crop, made possible by Epson Image Processing Technology.

It also has a mode for scanning long documents, allowing you to scan more than three metres of paper on one side, and is easily accessed by multiple members of your team thanks to Wi-Fi Direct and Wi-Fi connectivity. It is NFC-enabled and you can control it using your mobile device with the help of Epson’s Scan app, which also allows you to improve and edit digital images before you save and share.
