Question from Dave: Asked on 03/11/2009 I am very confused by the specs given for the graphics card. The specs state that it is a 1GB card, with the ability to turbocache to over 2GB of memory. Is the card 1 GB dedicated with the ability to extend the memory to over 2Gb or is it just a card that uses VRAM all the time, with the ability to increase it from 1GB to over 2 GB?

Answer from SteveK: Answered on 04/11/2009
I have sent you an email explaining all.

Question from David: Asked on 21/10/2009 Every other website says that this product has dedicated ddr ram on the graphics card ... NOT shared vram. Please clarify?

Answer from SteveK: Answered on 01/10/2009
Assuming that you have a reliable & fast internet connection this should be fine, It has 4Gb of DDR3 SDRam and a good graphics card.

Question from pete: Asked on 26/09/2009 Theres answers here that say its a dedicated graphics card and other which say its shared, surely if its not an intergrated graphics card its dedicated graphics memory, in which case with 1gb of memory this would be more than enough for games such as call of duty, even on high detail?

Answer from SteveF: Answered on 28/09/2009
It has 1GB of Virtual ram which means it nicks it from your system resources, so it isn't dedicated, sorry for the other comments saying it is, I'll get them taken off. Laptops with 1GB of dedicated ram tend to be a lot more expensive.

Question from Ramana: Asked on 24/09/2009 Could this laptop play the latest videogames at medium settings? thanks

Answer from SteveF: Answered on 25/09/2009
Once again it has a shared graphics card. If you have a look at the gaming section there is a selection of laptops that would play the latest games at the medium settings.

Question from JOE: Asked on 21/09/2009 How does the video card in this laptop compare to:

512MB ATI Mobility RADEON HD 4570

This card isn't dedicated so I'd go with the ATI as that has half a gig of dedicated memory.
