It will play them, but not at top speed, it maybe even the lowest settings. The graphics card is a good one, but only has virtual ram which means there's no dedicated graphics ram (which is what the latest games need to run at any decent level.) To get a good gaming laptop, you're generally looking at paying over the £1k mark.

No, the graphics cards have virtual ram so playing the latest games at top graphics will cause slowdown, you'll be looking at running those games at low to medium setting. Look for a laptop with at least 256 mb of dedicated ram to get anything out of it.

The weight is 3.5kg and yes it has a cd burner included. The media controls are there for playing the discs not burning.

The specs are correct, the acer site also states a resolution of 1366 x 768 for this model. Other models in this range do have different screen resolutions though.

Yes this laptop can handle CoD4 with ease - The dedicated graphics card is a good one. With a relatively high resolution and settings it can give an average of over 50fps (according to benchmarks of this graphics card in cod4).
