With the staunch belief that good design enhances the consumer experience, ASUS launches the F8 notebook series with the revolutionary Infusion technology. An all round mobile computing workhorse based on the latest platform with advanced graphics solutions, the F8 is sophisticated inside-out with robustness, state-of-the-art computing technologies and unique aesthetics.

The built-in WLAN 802.11 a/g/n ensures wireless Internet access whenever reception is available. The F8 also provides Bluetooth 2.0 EDR – an enhanced data rate that transmits three times faster than the standard Bluetooth, for increased connectivity and synchronization between digital devices. In addition, a complete range of input / output ports that includes 5 USB ports, an S-video TV-out port and express card slots will provide you with dynamic data transfer and storage options.

The F8 series adopt the unique semiconductor based RF biometric fingerprint scanner. The RF electronic imaging mechanism reads the fingerprint pattern from the live layer of skin that lies just beneath the skins dry outer surface layer. Therefore, the sensor is less affected by common skin surface conditions, including dry, worn, calloused, dirty or oily skin, that can impair the ability of other sensors to acquire accurate fingerprint images.

Built-in accessories like the microphone and the 1.3M high-resolution Swivel webcam will make video conferencing hassle-free. Strategically placed speakers at the front end of the notebook will enhance face-to-face communications by focusing on spoken words and limiting distracting sounds.

Crysis is a tricky one, I'd still rather play that on a proper gaming desktop PC than a laptop at this moment in time. It will run most games just fine but I'm not sure about Crysis.

Answer from Easycom: Answered on 17/09/2008
No, the laptop graphics cards don't tend to be as the dedicated desktop ones. It will be good for gaming to a certain standard but if you try playing Cyrsis for instance then it will have to played in a fairly low res. Its a casual gamers card.
