No laptops come with recovery DVD's, you can however purchase these for £15.

It would be suitable but I would pay another £30 and go for the Samsung NP-RV510-A08UK as it has a lot better Pentium processor and a extra GIG of RAM so will be quicker and more future proof.

I would recomend a laptop with dual core and 3 GIG of ram for that, which this doesn't have. Please call sales for advice on your options. The laptop you are looking at is more for Internet and Office use.
