Vista is indeed pre-installed however it is not possible to downgrade the laptop to XP.

The laptop was released in June and has been one of our most popular HP models. If you need a built in web cam you would have to look for a slightly more expensive HP.

The laptop comes with the Microsoft operating system preinstalled so Internet Explorer and Media Player are ready to go. It does not however come with any part of the Microsoft Office Suite installed. If you required a Word and Excel you would need to look at purchasing a copy of Microsoft Office. The laptop does however have Wifi built in so it does not need a wireless card added to it.

The laptop has wireless networking built in so all you need is a wireless router to connect it to your home broadband. The notebook does not come with any antivirus so I would suggest getting a copy of Norton Anti Virus from the software section of our website.
