Samsung LE32A436T1DXXU 32 Inch HD Ready LCD TV

SKU: LE32A436T1DXXU Quickfind Code: 204640

This product is no longer available.

With a design that is simply redefined, this SAMSUNG Series 4 LCD TV delivers rich colours, deep blacks and comes packaged in the now classic Samsung black gloss casing.

The LE37A4 has lifelike picture quality giving you colour and detail like never before, as movies, sports and gaming burst to life on your screen. With a Dynamic Contrast Ratio of 8,500:1 images are presented with power, precision and lifelike detail. The Digital Dynamic Contrast is controlled by a variable backlight behind the panel giving more control over how the picture is produced and therefore a better contrast between darks and lights.

The series 4 models also contain Samsung's DNIe + technology that produces an incredible depth of detail that captures your eyes and unlocks your senses. Its advanced Colour and Motion Optimisers deliver incredibly lifelike images, and Contrast and Detail Enhancers combine to provide you with deeper depth of colour.

So even though this model could classed a bit of an golden oldie now, this TV is by no means headed for the scrap heap. And for those wanting Samsung quality without the Samsung price tag, this set is definitely for you.

Question from dee: Asked on 23/01/2009 hi some tvs have a really dull looking picture is this 1 of them or not

Answer from jeremy: Answered on 26/01/2009
depends what you mean by a dull picture.. if you mean grey, then it is compared to higher spec & priced sets. This is Samsungs entry level TV but picture quality, at this price, will be the same with all manyufacturers

Question from Carol: Asked on 14/01/2009 It say on the product summary page for this TV to "See Recommended Accessories for suitable brackets". I was hoping to purchase a wall braket with the TV but can't seem to see this page, or any brackets on the Package Deals or Essential Extras page.
Could you please let me know where to find the wall brackets as I want to make sure I buy the correct one.

Answer from david s: Answered on 14/01/2009
any bracket with a 200 x 200mm fitting will do

Question from Mimi: Asked on 05/11/2008 Can you explain the difference between 1080 and 720 display format. Wanted for watching TV and playing DVD's, no techies. Please advise what would be the best in 32" models.

Answer from jeremy: Answered on 05/11/2008
its the number of pixels displayed on the set. To get the best picture quality from a 32" set you need to go for one that is full 1080p ( more pixels equals finer picture) Personal choice I would go for a Panasonic TX-32LZD85, but if you want Samsung then LE32A559P4F
Answer from david s: Answered on 05/11/2008
If you are just watching normal DVD's and not using Blueray then any TV will be ok for you.
If you are going to use Blueray then you would make use of a Full HD TV which is a 1080p set.
The 1080 and 720 are resloutions of display on the TV like on a laptop that the set will accept. 1080i is similar to 720p and the baest is 1080p.

Question from Neo: Asked on 13/07/2008 What is the top display format for this T.V - 1080i?

Yes this TV has the one year warranty from Samsung, so if it breaks down, you contact them. This warranty does not cover accidental damage (no warranty does). We do sell accidental damage insurance in the 'Warranties and Insurance' section - Navigate to TV insurance.

Question from Paul: Asked on 16/06/2008 Is 100mhz processor better in LCD tv's for fast action such as football or does the fast pixel response time do the same thing ?

Answer from Easycom: Answered on 16/06/2008
100Hz is the rate at which the screen updates or refreshes - The pixel response time affects the time the pixels take to effect those changes - Both need to be good for a good fast framerate with no image ghosting. Samsung panels are generally better at this, as their TVs use MotionPlus technology which intelligently creates and adds extra frames to the signal based on the previous and next frame, giving you smooth flowing visuals.

Question from bw: Asked on 15/06/2008 Hi, is this TV suitable from playing games? I heard some LCD TVs have lag :/

Answer from Easycom: Answered on 16/06/2008
Some older models do have higher pixel response times which can lead to 'ghosting' of the image during fast motion scenes - Thankfully most (if not all) new TVs have fast pixel response times, and ghosting is quickly becoming a thing of the past. This samsung will give you no ghosting problems at all.
