Its aa quick as any laptop, the speed of downloads etc is down to your internet speed - i.e. size of the broadband line you pay for.

I would say no. You may be able to load it on but the reason they use the home version is because of the spec of the notebook. Its not really powerful enough to run XP Pro.

No and I wouldn't advise it on a net book. Normal laptops can struggle with vista if they don't have enough ram to run it and that's with a dual core processor. These machines have xp as it needs less system resources to keep things running smoothly.

You will be able to run a larger resolution through the projector than you can on the laptop screen. The laptop screen is separate and has nothing to do with it.

For the photos, no problem. As for the video editing, well that's quite a processor/ram hungry exercise and as this is a netbook built for the smaller tasks in life, it will struggle. Have a look at the Asus N10, product code N10J-HV011E which has a dedicated graphics card in but is the same size as the Samsung.

Any external DVD drive will work as they connect via USB and all laptops come with a USB port. The difference is usually in the speed they write the discs at. They don't weight much, usually under 1KG.

These notebooks come with a partition drive which is used for reinstalling your operating system or you can order a recovery DVD from ourselves which will do the job. It doesn't come with an optical drive as most Netbooks leave this out to keep the size and weight down but you can buy a external DVD drive which will plug in via the USB port on the side if you wish to install games or applications.

Bacause its a netbook and fairly limited in certain areas, the resolution would be the same as it produces for the 10inch screen, 1024 x 600.

It just means that the stock of the computers into the UK is due approx 3rd to 7th from samsung.
There is sometimes a possibility for a delay on orders but only if stock is delayed being released to the uk.
But as soon as your order is ready/dispatched you will recieve notification of this.
