It states what operating system comes with every computer on our site so I am unsure why you are asking this question. "resonably good volume range" I assume you are asking about the speakers? if so they will be around 4-5 watts RMS per channel. You can connect computers up to exsternal speakers or AMPs for better sound. Laptops don't have very high powered speakers as it all about saving battery life.

No due to the Intel GMA 4500M shared graphics please call sales for advice. It's £35.00 to upgrade the RAM to 4GB though.

I would probably consider a slightly higher processor for what your looking to do as this may not cope with most video editing software on the market. Maybe consider the i5 processor.
