It may play it at a push. I can't confirm for definate due to the Sempron processor and 1GB of RAM. It has ATI Radeon graphics card but it's a relativily basic card. I would recomend the Acer LX.R4402.076 Aspire 5552 as a lot better option that's alot more powerfull and will last you longer.

Yes, but the Toshiba Satellite C650D-115 (PSC16E-00E007EN) would be a better buy with 3GB of RAM and is pretty much the same price.

Only laptops with Windows 7 Pro have a XP Pro mode not Windows 7 Home Premium, so you need to be looking at laptops with the operating system. Recovery disks for laptops are £15.00 and the memory upgrade would cost £49.97.
