Yes, would connect to your router using a network cable. Then any other devices on that network can connect to it, E.g laptop, desktop, X Box, or a TV that supports streaming.

No everything inlcuded you just need a network/broadband and a router to connect the storage device too. You will need to use a PC to set up the storage device and then you can access it through a PS3

It will take 4 hard drives. And yes it does come with restore discs etc.

It will connnect to any domestic or non domestic router or switch using a hard wired Ehternet connection.
