I'd check each model individually as they specs can change from model to model. nVidea Ion is just the name they've given to a smaller laptop version of the 9400.

No, its called a nettop which are designed to be very small and so they have left out the dvd drive. You can buy an external one though and this will plug in via the usb port.

You can't downgrade visqat home to xp unfortunately although call acer on that one, they might have some drivers which will change that. The kit comes as a package from Acer so its all or nothing, we can't take any bits out.
