You don't have to buy the extended warranty. You can extend the warranty at a later date AS LONG AS you're still within the initial warranty period.

Windows 7 comes with a very basic stripped down version of Word which replaces MS Works. Full versions of Office can be found on the site or call sales for further assistance.
