Picture the scene...You've just bought a brand new DJI Phantom 4 Pro and are about to take it on its maiden flight. However, no sooner that it's in the air, you lose control of it and have to watch in horror as your beloved drone crashes into a tree. Thankfully, DJI have something called "care refresh" that's designed to cover you in such mishaps.
The cover protects you against any accidental drone damage, allowing you to exchange your broken drone with a replacement unit twice within 12 months. For both requests you'll only ever have to pay a small fixed amount regardless of how badly damaged the drone is. The first replacement fee is £129, the second replacement fee is £189.
Once you've activated your care refresh cover, requesting a replacement unit couldn't be easier. Simply request the repair online, send your drone to DJI, pay the set replacement fee, and wait for your replacement to arrive! Plus, you'll get prioritised replacements units other anyone else, so you'll be flying again in no time.
Please note: DJI care refresh is only eligible with brand new drones activated less than 48 hours.
