Power-line-level sensing and safety
The Matrice 400 ensures safer handling with an advanced obstacle sensing system. It integrates rotating LiDAR, high-precision mmWave radar, and full-colour low-light fisheye vision sensors to detect small obstacles like high-voltage power lines across mountainous terrain. The system penetrates rain and fog to provide enhanced safety in challenging weather conditions. Aircraft Fusion Positioning allows the drone to fly stably close to glass-facade buildings or wind turbine blades. Additionally, the capability to take off from and land on moving vessels addresses the needs of offshore maritime patrols.
Extended transmission and intelligent tracking
You can achieve image transmission up to 40 km using the O4 Enterprise Enhanced Video Transmission System. This system uses a 10-antenna setup on the aircraft and supports the sub2G frequency band. The built-in Airborne Relay Video Transmission allows one Matrice 400 to serve as a relay drone, extending the signal range for another drone operating further away. Smart Detection identifies vehicles, vessels, and subjects during search and rescue tasks. Real-Time Terrain Follow ensures a stable relative height to the ground, maintaining a consistent ground sampling distance for high-precision mapping data.
Multi-payload flexibility
This drone easily meets the demands of a wide range of tasks. You can mount up to seven payloads simultaneously using four external E-Port V2 ports and three gimbal connectors.
