Question from zot: Asked on 21/09/2010 are these photographs of the actual item? i mean, is the item that color, does it come with a fingerprint reader? long story short: what am i buying should i decide to bag this laptop?

Yes, the image on the site is accurate and has a finger print reader.

Question from zot: Asked on 18/09/2010 obviously this product in the photographs shows to have an optical drive. in the description doesn't. after a google search, i found videos, pictures and reviews, all for the same identical model, even on the acer website, and all of them describe it with an optical drive.
my question is: does it or doesn't it come with an optical drive?
question # 2: is there a return policy with laptopsdirect? in case the product comes different from the one described and one should change one's mind to change it for another product? in case there existed such a policy, should the other product be different in price, what happens then?
please try to answer as soon as you can, as i am trying to decide on buying one of them.
question #3: is there a student discount for the refurbished products?

No optical drive is included this batch of refurbished laptops didn't come with a CD/DVD drive like a new one would. Prices are discounted already so can't offer anymore. For the returns policy pls see
