Will take XP but Vista would be a mistake as if it did run it wouldn't run very quick. Drivers will be available on www.acer.co.uk. I would buy a net book with XP on in the first place they do cost that much more and would save alot of hassle espeically as netbooks don't have CD/DVd drives.

It will do all of the above but will only play basic flash games nothing with 3D graphics.

You can attach the dvd drive and play dvds, cds or burn either of those mediums but not games, this machine would melt if you tried playing sims 3 on them.
