If I were to buy this TV would we discard the digibox and connect the lead from the dish to receive all Freesat channels and also plug in the old aerial lead to receive all Freeview channels ?

Answer from jeremy: Answered on 19/10/2009
freesat needs a staelite dish, not an aerial, to receive its signal

Question from Andrew: Asked on 08/09/2009 We have SKY connected in the lounge. This TV is for our bedroom - to take advantage of the HD options, will I need to connect it to the SKY dish (via SKY decoder?), or can I simply connect it to my roof top aerial?

Answer from jeremy: Answered on 08/09/2009
You need to have a seperate cable, running directly from your Sky dish, into the TV. You cannot split the signal from your existing cable. This means that you need to upgrade you dish with a quad LNB

Question from marty30@eircom.net: Asked on 26/05/2009 hi jeremy will the freesat work in ireland and has it got an analog tuner

Answer from jeremy: Answered on 26/05/2009
freesat works off the Astra satelite. obiously its not an Irish service as it is run by the BBC and ITV, but if you can get Sky then you should be able to get freesat, but you may have to get an aerial man to check it out. As for analogue, it has an analogue, digital and freesat tuner built in
