The Panasonic TOUGHBOOK 40 is the ultimate 14" fully rugged notebook designed for Defence and ideal for Police and Utilities. It has a modular design that allows mobile workers to modify the device quickly and easily for different challenges by equipping 7 expansion areas. The powerful new all black model is built for use in the most extreme conditions (IP66, 180cm drop tested and MIL-STD-810H), designed for military-grade quick release self-encrypting secure drives and up to 16-hour battery life to support mission critical operations.

Class leading 8 modular areas

The TOUGHBOOK 40 features eight user-replaceable locations including the battery, memory, storage, keyboard and four expansion areas. The expansion area features several different types of xPAK's including a barcode reader, optical drives, authentication readers, additional I/O, batteries and storage.

5-megapixel infrared webcam

With the increased use of video conferencing - whether for telehealth or remote services - the TOUGHBOOK 40 boasts the first 5-megapixel webcam in its class. It features a privacy cover for security and infrared capability to support Windows Hello facial recognition.

Tetra-array microphones

Featuring four microphones that offer class leading speech recognition and up to 3x the accuracy in noisy environments. Additionally, users can select the optimal AI noise cancellation that best suits their needs.
