If I get a docking station do I still have to open lid on laptop to turn on/off?

This dock is for Samsung Business laptops with a docking port. You need a USB docking station these can be found on our site.

Your laptop doesn't have a docking port so any USB docking station can be used. There is a wide range on our site but they don't have a VGA port for a monitor.

Question from Rik G: Asked on 22/02/2012 Samsung Docking Station for All 400 Series - AA-RD4NDOC/UK - I recently bought one of these docking stations and cannot get it to output to two external monitors, any ideas why this might be?

Samsung tech support can assist on 0845 726 7864. It might be due to you only have a shared graphics card rather than dedicated.
