With two Full HD cameras and a huge 1 TB hard drive, the Swann NVW-485 WiFi HD Security System lets you set up a home monitoring system without hassle. The two cameras have IR technology that lets you see what's going on at night, whether it's someone snooping round your property or a false alarm when a fox is raiding the bins.
The cameras can see up to 20 m at night, and wide angle lenses let you keep an eye on a wide area.
You've also got the option to add more cameras, so it's easy to expand your system.
WiFi connectivity
You can connect easily thanks to the WiFi connection. There's no need to run cables between your cameras and the hard drive, so you can set up in minutes without needing to put holes in your walls. All you'll need is a power socket near your camera.
Using the SwannView Link app, you'll be able to view live or recorded videos on your smartphone when you're away from home.
Full HD resolution
The Swann NVW-485 WiFi HD Security System supports a Full HD resolution, which means you'll be able to see crystal clear images. It's the same resolution as many TVs, which means you can expect the same high quality you'd see on your Full HD TV.
See and hear

This may depend on the strength of your WiFi in that particular location. I would recommend using a smartphone or tablet in that area and determining whether the strength is stable enough.

They do not have a great amount of movement, however they can be moved a slight amount left & right.

The DVR connects to the router via Ethernet. However the wireless side of this system is based on the cameras connectivity to the DVR. You will not need to run any cables from the Cameras to the DVR.

Question from Paul L: Asked on 11/03/2019 I currently have 2 P.O.E cameras which are not SWANN but made by SV3C. Would I be able to attach them to the SWANN CCTV system and us them in conjunction with the SWANN cameras?
This would be quite unlikely and would not be advised by us. We would recommend only using Swann DVR/NVR's with compatible Swann products.

The BNC Cables supplied are each 18 Metres in length. However, you can run each camera's cable up to 700 feet (213.4 m) without any video loss.

Yes that's correct. With the NVR being 4 channel you can add up to 2 more cameras to this system.
