Question from Dave: Asked on 07/09/2011 Can I get a warranty if I live in the Channel Islands?
Question from Ed: Asked on 07/06/2011 Does this include accidental damage?
Question from Thomas: Asked on 15/03/2011 My 3 year Extended Warranty with Samsung for my Samsung R700, Intel® Core™ 2 Duo T8100 2.1Ghz 3MB Cache with 17" Screen expires on 21 April 2011. Can I buy this warranty to run immediately from that date for 3 years?
Also, there appear to be contradictory answers on whether there is a £40 excess charge applicable or not. Can you confirm whether there is an excess charge, and if so, in what circumstances it is payable, please?
Finally, I have to travel for work, spending sometimes two or three weeks at a time in another place. If my laptop breaks while I'm away, can it be picked up from my temporary address and returned there?
Thank you.

Question from Anirban: Asked on 09/12/2010 The policy document does not talk about any excess and the same is written in your product description. Could you please please clarify if it is only £75 I need to pay for unlimited valid claims and there are NO excess?
Please clarify if carriage is covered by the insurer as it is not clear. It just says carriage not covered if there are no faults.
Question from burky: Asked on 25/11/2010 Hi does this cover customers in the Republic of Ireland?
Question from rsp: Asked on 31/10/2010 when does this warranty start? for example if I got a Asus laptop with a 2 years manufactures warranty, would this warranty extension make it a total 5 years warranty?
Question from Andrew: Asked on 23/08/2010 What models of laptop are covered by this warranty? So the cost of this policy is £75 +£40 per claim so if one claim over two years the cost is £115. Where are the repairs performed: is the laptop sent back to the manufacturer for repair or to a third party?
Repairs are done by a third party and it would cost you nothing to get the laptop repaired under the warranty.

Question from Mike: Asked on 18/11/2008 1) When is the extended warranty effective? From the fisrt day of delivery or when the Samsung warranty expires: i.e. if the PC goes wrong within the first year who do I claim against - Samsung or AXA?
2) Is the £40 excess charge applicabe to every claim made on AXA regardless of cause - for example if the DVD drive stops working through failure during normal use?
3) Why is the excess charge not detailed in the Terms or Summary documents provided?
4) Battery / charger unit (original ones supplied) - are these fully covered for the full extended warranty period?
5) Pixel failure - given that the PC is free of failed pixels and then later during the extended warranty period some pixels fail at what level is a replacement display component offered?
6) What level of accidental damage is covered of should I provide for this within my property insurance?
